I retired from the West Valley City Fire Department in May of 2020 after sustaining a career-ending back injury removing a victim during a housefire.  I worked for West Valley City for 16 years as a Senior Firefighter/Critical Care Paramedic/K9 Handler and member of FEMA USAR Utah Task Force One.  I also served as the Union President for the West Valley Professional Firefighters for 12 years.  I also still am a District Vice President for the Professional Firefighters of Utah.

Coaching Background – I have been actively involved in sports my entire life and love coaching football.  I love getting to know each athlete and then becoming a mentor to assist you in your goals.  I have coached adults for the last 20 years in various level and sports.

I am married to my wife Monica who works as a Provider for the University of Utah School of Medicine and we have been married for over 21 years.  I have 3 beautiful children.  My oldest daughter is 16 years old, and I have girl/boy 12-year-old twins.  I have coached 100's of athletes throughout Utah with numerous athletes playing at the collegiate level.
